According to the context, the typology of the tool and the weathering of the material, this artifact dates back at least from 374 000 years old, before the Riss ice age. 

Tool: Very nice Acheulean Knife / blade on flake, made in chalcedony by our ancestor Homo Heidelbergensis.  Marks of use and tiny retouches on the active sharp part.

This very nice piece is from an ancient collection. It has been found before the 1960's.
