According to the weathering of the material and the typology of the tool, this piece seems to date back to the first half of the Mousterian period. 

Artifact: very nicely shaped Mousterian side scraper, made by our ancestor Homo Neanderthalensis. Marks of use on the active sharp part. 

Material:  flint + patina + cortex
