According to the context, the weathering of the material and the typology of the tool, this piece seems to date back to the second half of the Mousterian period. 

Tool: very beautiful Mousterian scraper and blade in red jasper, made on flake by our ancestor Neanderthal. Retouches and marks of use on the active sharp part.

This very nice piece is from an ancient collection. It has been found before the 1960's.
