This satchel / briefcase is in fantastic condition. The Kilim (I believe is slitweave) is wool and was made in Turkey. I absolutely adore all the animals that you find on this traditional woven piece. This was made by Kilim Art.

The structure of the bag is leather with metal feet. There is an open pocket as well as a zipper pocket on the outside and you will find another zipper pocket on the inside. The fabric on the inside is for easy cleanup and is a woven nylon or poly fabric. The zippers and clasp are all in great working order and I really see very little wear. This does have a detachable adjustable strap for wear or, of course, it can be carried by its top handle. Truly a unique piece and absolutely gorgeous!

About me:

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Interior Design in '97. I worked in the field for 20 years successfully until having twins with medical issues. This necessitated my transition to a different kind of work and staying home with them. Recently, I have reignited my passion for design with my (mostly) vintage and antiques eBay business. I'm very small but I get to handle all aspects and make sure my customers are happy. I find it very fulfilling to find hidden treasures for others to enjoy! In a strange way, it keeps me in touch with my design roots and helps make a little money to participate in paying bills for my family. Thank you so much for looking and for your purchase, I really appreciate you!
