Getzen Severinsen Eterna Trumpet  1976-1979 M-L Bore - Very Good condition

This trumpet is a top-quality, American-made instrument with a rich and powerful sound. Medium-Large bore (.460). All valves and slides work smoothly. The trumpet features the Amado waterkeys system. Two mouth pieces are included. A Bach 10.5 and the stock Getzen 5-C. Three mutes are included and valve oil. Neither the trumpet, mouthpieces or mutes have been cleaned. The horn has the adjustable plastic slide stop on 3rd valve commonly found on the Severinsen models. It can be removed at the user’s preference.

The serial number is SK28326, making it a 1976-1979 manufacture.

The surface of the horn is beautiful and bright. There are three tiny dings (see photos). My thumb is shown in photos for size reference. For a late 1970s horn this is in excellent shape. By any comparison it’s in Very Good condition.

The case is a black Getzen brand case, showing wear but still very sturdy. About a 1” split in vinyl on bottom (shown with Quarter for reference). the latch hinges and case hinges are good. The leather handle wrap is a little frayed at ends but entire handle assembly is still strong. The clasps open and close a little tight (could use some WD-40) but are very secure,

Non-smoking home.
