The city in which this was made was part of Hungary until the Trianon Treaty of 1921 when it became part of Romania. However, the city retained its strong cultural links with Hungary as proven by the 1957 date on this hand carved, hand made wooden storage box.

Approx 14 x 11.5 cms base measurement. It holds hand rolled cigarettes and dispenses one at a time as you lift the centre cube. Also a section to store a box of matches.
