This is an Genuine  ORIGINAL 5.5:1 OEM high compression CYLINDER HEAD fits all 1928-29-30-31 Ford Model A engines

Short story: this head has damage on/to the head bolt hole #14 as shown in the Les Andrews "Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook Vol.1" on page 1-150

I received the head in this condition and installed and ran it on my '30' Coupe without any problems or 'situations' .....RAN GREAT!.....until the #2 piston decided it wanted to live in the oil pan vs. the cylinder.  Uggggg!

Bought a new/different complete engine from a fellow Model A Club member.  Sold the old block to someone and have this 5.5:1 'Police' head setting around.  Time for a new home.

When I installed this 5.5:1 head on the old engine I put a 'flat washer' on the damaged area, torqued it down and it all went well. 

However due to the visible damage I'm offering this OEM 

at less than 1/2.....HALF the cost of a new one.
