These hand blown teapots were made in the Frederick Carder (Carder/Stueben) specialty shop between 1922 and 1934. They came in 3 shapes - squat, round, and tall. As the tall shape was discontinued in 1925, it is the rarest. There are few surviving round teapots with their correct glass lids as many came with metal lids.

This is a wonderful opportunity to aquire a "starter" Carder teapot. They came in 3 sizes - 2, 4, and 6 cup. This is a 4 cup teapot. There is a major chip to the spout but it pours perfectly and can be displayed without showing the damage. There is a chip on the lid but it's not a functional issue and also can be hidden on display. Please look at ALL the pictures.

If perfect, price would be $175. Save $100 and buy this beauty with her blemishes.
