Fox turned a lot of heads when they brought out an affordable Schneurle port combat engines with two ball bearings in 1975.

Duke
was a great supporter of combat engines for many years.
This is the MK IV version from 1981. I looks like a MKIII, but has had the venturi modified much like the MKIII models.
The Mark 4 sorted out some of the problems in the MK III and was set up from the factory for slow combat with a high mounted needle valve and venturi restrictor (not included).
The bearings have been replaced with Boca high speed bearings; the rear has a ceramic ball separator.
The motor has been cleaned and inspected, run and is ready to use.
The Tyndal design Nelson plug “Double Bubble” head button is shimmed so
that the user can run low nitro fuel. A second shim is included and can be
installed below the button if the user wants to run fuel with higher nitro
content.
It
has an aftermarket piston and connecting rod with circlip retention for better durability.
Has
very strong compression and good cosmetics. Hand starts well – remember the
hard backwards flip.
The glow plug has three test runs since new and the Rev Up 8.5X7 propeller shown in the photos used for test runs is included.
If you want this engine to last use fuel with a 5% castor oil component and less than 25% nitromethane.
A great motor for speed limit combat, combat training or competition if you can’t afford a Fora or Nelson.
It will pull most modern combat models at 110+ MPH.
