Up for auction is a fantastic group of tintypes circa 1865-1900. In total is a group of 75 tintypes with many tintypes still in original paper frames/ mats others lose but in fair condition. Expect variety of sizes from" Gem size-  Quarter Plate - 3 ¼" x 4 ¼" Sixth Plate - 2 ¾" x 3 ¼ 

Just to be clear I have no provenance for any of the material, and cannot provide any additional details except for general information found within the albums. This group contains images from several photo albums. Most individuals depicted appear to be from working class backrounds.

 Highlights include :  expect lots of working class / western looking gentleman. Also some great  images of children. In addition is lots of well dressed women one lady with a gold star in her hair stands out. Overall the group includes sitters with interesting facial expressions with many characters in this collection.

Condition: Poor - Very good. All lose tintypes show much more wear some with bends, scratches, nicks, rust in a few cases, but overall the majority in good condition especially those contained in paper mats. As always any questions feel free to ask.
