My Mother made this for me around 1970. There are no loose threads. My Mother made me many beautiful sweaters over the years.
They all held up very well as she was a perfectionist.
It looks in the photos as there are many stains but I only see the one which is to the right of the buttons about 9 “ over.
The stain is about 1” in the cream part please check out photos
