This watch is also listed at Century Time Watches, so may end early.

A very nice Omega 6B/159, issued in 1956 to R.A.F Pilots.

These are sometimes referred to as re-issue or re-cases, as they were put together by the British M.O.D using existing parts. The were then issued to the R.A.F in 1956.

There are several dial variants, and this one has an original Omega silver dial. There is some patina to the edge, but this is contained around 2-3 and 8. There is also a small spot around 2. Overall the watch has a vey nice look to it, and has aged well for its 60+ years. The Dennison case is still nice and sharp and retains good shape, the bars are fixed at 17mm. There is a small nibble on one bar, but this is stainless steel and still functions perfectly well.

The blued hands are original and complement the dial nicely. Comes on a single band green strap as seen. Also included is a new 18mm Nato band.

The Cal 30T2 movement was serviced in October 2023 by Simon Freese, and has 12 months mechanical warranty remaining from that date. As seen, the movement retainer ring is also present.

Points to consider: Original Omega 6B/159, blue hands, cal 30T2, serviced with warranty.
