NM- Or Better -- Very minimal wear.  Basically as or near new.
NM- -- May have small imperfections.  Near new.
VF -- High grade, but will have noticeable wear and handling.
FN -- Mid grade.  Noticeable and extensive visible wear.
VG -- Low to Mid grade.  Very noticeable wear.
GD -- Low grade.
P -- As Low grade as possible.
