46 year old vintage Gibson……plays great, sounds great…….definitely has been played and the finish has taken a beating……. believe the neck pickup is the original P.A.F. that reads 8.13 on the ohmmeter……the bridge position has been souped-up with a vintage Dragon One Treble that reads 18.43 on the ohmmeter. Dragon One pickups are actually quite a rare find, were used in early U.S.A. PRS guitars…………Basically a one owner, played and gigged by a gentleman that has passed away. His guitars were left to his son. I have cleaned it up some and put a fresh set of strings on ( 10-46 )…….adjusted the intonation, tweaked the pickup heights a little. I’m leaving anything else to the new owner. Ebony fretboard must have gotten too dry at one point, some cracking shown in my pictures causing no playing issues. Could be filled in at some time in the future. Original pickguard missing (probably black)…….original knobs were probably black tophats……..fret wires were replaced and play well, but somebody was rough on the binding during the operation……….this guitar weighs in at a pinch over 10 pounds………
