This scarce model (none listed with Box AND Deed at time of listing), is of Sheffield Station on the vintage BlueBell rail line between Lewes and East Grinstead in Sussex. It is a winter scene with an old bus, with good and a Christmas Tree on the roof outside the snow-covered station. Built in 1890 it has both barge boarding and pargeting decoration and a steep tile roof. A London, Brighton and South Coast Railway B1 Class 0-4-2 express passenger steam locomotive stands ready at the platform. The cottage illuminates by 2AA batteries of a 3 volt DC converter (neither included).
