Winning one or more of my current auctions generally gets reduced shipping, depending upon quantity. I am a 30-year+ collector, and my books for sale are from my personal collection. I take care of my books, and am now selling almost exclusively third party graded books. 

Getting books graded is a significant added expense. I believe it provides value as it provides confidence to the collector that what they are purchasing will retain its saleability. If that is not meaningful to you, I invite you to roll the dice and buy raw. You may get lucky. Third party grading removes the luck for those who feel it is important to do so.
