RedWare (?) Pottery Round 10” Plate Tribal Theme Hand Painted Etched Design. Plate is “heavy” at 2.4 lbs. Believe this is clay pottery or stoneware but is unmarked/unbranded and acquired from an estate so not familiar with the history or details of the item. The plate is handmade and very smooth with no apparent cracks or chips. There are a couple of imperfections on the backside- very small- but expected since hand crafted. The hand painted design is so unique and intricate with etched like painted tribal theme artwork.

This would make a great decorative piece or as a plate for serving. Due to material of plate, it is not suggested to submerge into water or use “harsh” cleaning products. In certain lighting, it does look like there is a glaze that has been stripped over the years.
