PORSCHE - 911SC N 1 RALLY CRITERIUM DES CEVENNES 1979 B.BEGUIN - J-J.LENNE

With the presentation of the K Series in August 1977, the 911 range was redefined. The new 911SC (coupe and Targa) with 180 liter 3-liter engine replaced all the various 911 and 911 Carrera models. The SC continued its career with continuous refinements: starting from the L series of October 1978 the power rised to 188 bhp, thanks to a tweak of the compression ratio. The horses then increased to 204 with the N series, presented in August 1980. The convertible is finally added to the coupé and Targa in March 1982. The SC was discontinued in autumn 1982, to be replaced by the new Carrera motor 3.2. The 911 SC has also experienced a vast use in competitions, both on the track and in rallies.
