PLEASE NOTE! This microphone does not need Phantom Power! It will be seriously damaged if subjected to 48v. It works wonderfully without it!!!

 Here is a reimagined dynamic microphone made by Eight Button Mics from Sennheiser/Superlux components. This is a MD409 in practice and consists of the following….

An original, vintage 402/3 Sennheiser capsule.

Fitted into the body of a Superlux PRA628 microphone. Making, as near as it gets, a MD409!

The capsule comes from original Sennheiser NOS. The PRA628 capsule was removed to make way for the awesome vintage capsule(one of Sennheiser's finest)!!! Please look at the photos to see the outcome!

It is in great working condition and sounds like it should. It comes in a zip bag with an original mic clip.

The microphone now bares the Eighth Button Mics badge which gives assurance to the quality of the product !
