A roll of vintage bookbinding mull cloth made by F.J.Ratchford Ltd. Genuine New Old Stock (NOS), Probably 1950s vintage at the latest, judging by the original postage label.

Approx 107cm (42in) wide and weighs 6.3 Kg
The ends are both open, as shown, so the edges may not be squeaky clean, but it's been kept well over the years.

Its estimated length is 50 meters (Among our volunteers we have people who regularly estimate the length of fabric roles based on counting layers on the roll ends.)

Pass on the vintage vibe to your artisanal customers. Sell it at a premium - This stuff isn't easy to find!

We do our utmost to list items accurately and honestly. Thank you for looking at our auction. As a small charity we will respond to your messages as soon as possible, but this will depend on our volunteers' availability.

ABOUT US

Empowering young people in Africa through vocational training

We are a charity based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire empowering young people in Africa (and the UK) to help themselves by developing the skills and knowledge needed to find gainful employment or start their own business.

We do this by refurbishing donated tools to a high standard and shipping them to training centres and self-help organisations.

In 2015 we received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
