The Beige Colored Matte is made of a Velvet Texture. The Frame is Gold Colored Steel.

Joan Baron achieved great commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with her distinctively framed photographs of Animals in Africa and other exotic locations around the world (See Listing Pic #6 for a Photo of the the Artist). Her work, noted for its artistic composition and clear expression of animal spontaneity and nobility, was sold through the gift galleries of high-end department stores including Bergdorf Goodman and Henri Bendel. The Photo in this Listing is one of Baron’s work that was Framed and Sold by Henri Bendel (see listing pic #8).

The Sepia Photograph itself shows no sign of age, with the artist signature still very bold and clear. 

The Velvet Matte has also aged wonderfully, with no issues whatsoever. The ONLY CONDITION ISSUE 

is the Gold Colored Frame which shows signs of wear especially in the front face where there are some 

light surface scratches.

The Framed Photograph is 10 ½” inches x 8 ½” inches x 1” inch. The photograph itself is 6” inches x 4” inches.
