cloth binding with gilt titles to the spine, gently worn and rubbed, the
original dustjacket, worn, rubbed and torn. Illustrated with 14 photographic
plates.
A facsimile letter from
Churchill’s office on House of Commons headed paper in the original Post Office
stamped envelope (dated 28 – IX – 45) addressed to a Mrs Midgeley.
The message reads:
“I thank you sincerely
for your very kind message to me which I have received and read with great
pleasure.
Winston S. Churchill
1945”
