A Sony 100mm macro lens in full working order and very good optical, physical, and mechanical condition. It is noted that there is some internal dust that has been sucked in, but this won’t affect a photograph (all of the image passes through all of the glass). Dust is common with macro and zoom lenses due to the pump action.
There is some discolouration to the rubber grip, but this obviously doesn’t affect an image.
You will see that this lens has eight electrical contacts on the rear instead of the five contacts on the Minolta lens from which it derives. The additional contacts are related to ADI flash metering, something that appeared on the very final Minolta film cameras and which is standard on all Sony Alpha DSLRs after Sony bought out Minolta.
It can achieve full 1:1 reproduction.
It is supplied with front & rear caps ad the correct hood, and its storage case.
This lens is for the full-frame Sony ‘A’ mount for both full-frame and APS-C sensor Sony Alpha DSLR cameras. It will NOT mount to Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras that use the Sony ‘E’ mount unless used with an adaptor.
It is supplied with front and rear lens caps.
