This listing is for a Vintage Antique Acoustic Guitar 1940s in fair to good restoration worthy used condition. Bakelite tuner knobs are falling apart, but the mechanical components are good. Some varnish wear; finish and laminate damage above the top nut and around the bridge (see photos). Pretty sure it's mahogany laminate, neck is well finished on the back. Fingerboard is faux ebony I think like most of the trade instruments of the 1920s to 1950s. Some wear to the white trim line accent that's around the outside. Number inside reads 5 48 (assuming it's for May of 1948; no other markings. Possibly made by Stromberg, but not sure. Measures 36" long, lower bout is 13", Upper bout is 9.75", and it's 4" thick.
