Vintage 1978 Matchbox 1912 Ford Model T Bird’s Custard in Box! Models of Yesteryear Y-12!

Up for sale is a Vintage 1978 Matchbox Lesney 1912 Ford Model T Delivery Truck! This vintage Matchbox diecast truck is in its original box! It is marked as No. Y-12 in the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series. As shown in the photos, the truck is in excellent condition with very little (if any) color loss or play wear… it appears to have only been displayed. This is a bright blue delivery truck with red spoked wheels, yellow roof and highlights, black seats and steering wheel, and full color “Bird’s Custard Powder” decals on both sides. The truck has nice bright colors and great details. It is marked “Made in England by Lesney”, “Matchbox Models of Yesteryear”,“1912 Ford Model T ©1978” and “Lesney Products & Co. Ltd.” on the bottom. The box is complete with its window, flaps, and insert tray in place, but it does have some wear from storage and being opened. This is the “straw” style window box with a 1978 copyright date. This vintage Matchbox Lesney 1912 Ford Model T Delivery Truck would make a great addition to your collection!
