xxvii, [i], 560pp with a frontispiece, single folding map of The Hundreds of Codsheath, lacking the Map of The Hundred of Westerham, map misfolded and with old sellotape stains and loss. Chevening House as a Frontispiece, with Knole House at page 1 in the text, additional engravings in the text. Collated and complete (aside the map of Westerham). Some foxing to the text pages.

Quarter grey leather binding with red cloth buckram boards. Five raised bands to the spine and gilt titles to the second and fourth compartment. Page edges are plain.
