For Crystal Radio use:
1) Connect the Crystal Radio Audio Output using the Included Cable to the Input Jack of the Amplifier
2) Plug the Earphone into the Output Jack of the Amplifier
3) Slide the POWER Switch to the ON Position (LED will glow in the ON Position)
4) Rotate the Blue Volume Control (With Finger Knob) to adjust Volume

Requires a Piezo Earphone if you dont use the Amplifier (Piezo Earphone IS NOT INCLUDED)

Crystal Radio's will only work with a Piezoelectric (Piezo) Earphones. Cell Phone Earphones, MP3 Earphones, Transistor Radio Earphones WILL NOT work because Crystal radios only work with high-resistance earphones.

IT REALLY WORKS !!
How does it work, the Forward Voltage Drop is as low as .28 Volts !!
Even with the Low Forward Voltage Drop, a single Schottky Diode may not perform best due to the internal resistance of the Diode. To decrease the Diode Resistance I have connected 4 of them.

Everything needed to listen to a fully functional crystal radio EXCEPT for the Antenna and Ground Wire

A minimum of a 50ft long outdoor Antenna Wire is recommended.
The best configuration for a crystal radio antenna is to run the wire horizontally between two electrically insulated supports as high off the ground as possible . Search eBay or the net to purchase a "Crystal Radio Antenna" Kit or to make your own..
The reason you need a good length antenna is because the more antenna you have, the more power your set will receive, and the louder it will be.
