Up for sale is Nancy Drew “Mystery of Crocodile Island” by Carolyn Keene! This is the fifty-fifth volume in the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series. This is a rare vintage First Edition hardcover Nancy Drew book, and it is the true First Printing (identified as Farah’s 1978A-1) published by Grosset and Dunlap in 1978! The book has a matte pictorial cover with yellow spine, black & white illustrated multi-scene endpapers, and the top edge of the book is black. The book contains the original twenty chapters with a wonderful frontispiece illustration inside. The back cover and internal book lists are both to Mystery of Crocodile Island. As shown in the photos, the book is in very good condition for its age with some shelf wear and light soiling. The cover is in nice shape with a little edge wear and light soiling, including dash “-” marks on the back cover book list as shown. The book is complete and remains well bound. The original owner’s name is on the front endpapers as shown, and there is no other writing inside. The book has clean pages with very few light corner bends and no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This rare vintage First Edition Nancy Drew book would make a great addition to your collection!
