This antique Art Deco women's watch was made c.1925-30 by the Gothic Watch Co. in New York City.  From the research that I've done, the company advertised its jar proof models by dropping them from an 11-story building onto the pavement or even once dropping one from an airplane.  Presumably this was the inspiration for Timex's advertising campaigns.
This is a complete watch with all the appropriate markings.  It does not run, and the face and crystal have darkened over time.  However, the strap and expandable bracelet are in excellent condition.
