Great Depression Era 1932-1935 George F Cram Terrestrial 7” Desk Globe No 72 Indianapolis Indiana.

Charming antique desktop globe with amazing detail and good color retention that has rich patina.

Some of the details for dating its era include Persia before renamed Iran, French Indo China, Anglo-Egyptian Sudan, Siam, Korea in parenthesis, Manchuria is marked as ‘or Manchoukuo’, Ethiopia has Abyssinia in parenthesis, etc.

Stamped flat steel base with a mounting bell, time dial over the North Pole, coated paper over pasteboard, railways, ocean routes, and shortwave tower markings. Natural Scale1=71,725,000, 1inch = 1132 statute miles. Measures 9” tall from the bottom of the base to the top, 7" globe and 6" diameter base.


Good vintage condition with no dents or major flaws, some minor  paper wear. The steel base has no dents but some minor rust in one spot on the underside of the base. Please zoom into all pictures as they are part of the items description. Selling AS IS.
