This is an ideal ballast block for any tractor unit being used for towing rigid tow-bar or draw-bar trailers.

Tractor unit ballast block approximately 2 ton, this just hooks onto the fifth wheel with no other attachment - there is a wedge behind the pin itself to stop the block from rotating.

With the legs it is easy for the driver to self-couple and uncouple, then the individual legs can be removed and stored away, or the legs can be removed and stored facing upwards on the ballast block itself for transportation.

The legs are fully galvanised.

It also has channels on top for loading on and off with a forklift.
