This listing is for 1 X Gorgeous Young MALE Longfin Brown Spotted Bristlenose Plec, the exact fish shown in the listing photo.

He is approximately 2 inches in body size and has beautiful graceful long tails and fins. As you can see by his photo he has just started to get his bristles.

I breed and raise all of my fish to the highest standards. They are strong, healthy and very robust fish.

Please do your research to ensure they are suitable for your tank.

They grow to around 5 to 6 inches once matured. I'd recommend that they're kept in a minimum of 100 litres tank size. They are peaceful placid fish but if you have more than 1 male in a tank with only 1 female they may fight once they reach sexual maturity. They get along with most fish but can be harmed by some larger predator or aggressive fish. So please make sure that your current or future tank mates will be suitable.

Feeding your new Bristlenose is easy, they will happily eat most dry fish foods such asalgae wafers, Pleco specific pellets/sticks, fish flakes and so on. They need plenty of vegetables in their diet. They enjoy Courgette, boiled Carrot, Peas, Spinach, Broccoli stalk and so on. Never leave fresh food in the tank for longperiods of time as it can rot quickly and cause issues with the water quality. They will also pick at any natural algae growing in the tank, but they shouldn’t be left to survive on algae alone!
