It's in excellent, unused state. We bought two pieces of this beautiful hardware, but decided to continue with one unit (only 1 MSX computer left here), so that's the reason for selling this one.

Expands the regular MSX slot to four subslots, allowing to plug up to 4 cartridges simultaneously. You can now use your IDE, FDC and sound cartridges at the same time.

Can be stacked with an additional, 2nd Modulon Slotexpander for extra slots (then the second expander can be used as a I/O expander).

Modulon has separate volume adjusters for all four slots.

Modulon will not work with some 3.5" and 5.25" disk drive interfaces inserted in Modulon slots. This is because of design flaws in those interfaces. Also please understand that modern complex devices that have an internal subslot mapper will not work well in slotexpanders. This is a general problem, not caused by this slot expander implementation.
