LARGE LÖTZ ART NOUVEAU BOWL
DECOR CRETA PAPILLON

Blown into shape, wide bowl on a stand ring, eight-fold ribbed, outwardly curved wall with bumpy protuberances, tamed by a smooth, slightly outwardly turned mouth edge, ground and polished ball break on the underside.


 SHAPE:     Series I, Prod. No. - PN 7882, year 1899 - similar shape

 DECOR:   Creta Papillon

Creta green underlaid, colorless glass with rolled silver yellow flakes, model blown, reduced and iridescent with a bluish shimmer.


 DATING:   around 1899

Mold blown, wide bowl on a stand ring, eightfold ribbed, outwardly curved wall with humped protuberances, tamed by a smooth, slightly outwardly turned mouth rim, ground and polished pontil on the underside.

 DECOR:    Crete Papillon
Creta green underlaid, colorless glass with rolled-in silvery yellow crumbs, mould-blown, reduced and iridescent bluish shimmer.
