1940 QUARTERLY TAX DISC
ONE RARE GENUINE QUARTERLY TAX DISC FROM JUNE 1940
I currently have a large collection of tax discs which is very complete and in excellent condition for its respective age.
They are a whole collection from the quarterly September 1921 right up to the end of the discs in September 2015.
They include all the quarterly and annual discs from the 1920’s, 1930’s ,1940’s, and 1950’s.
I then have nearly every monthly disc from 1961 through to 2015.
A number of these discs are extremely rare and hard to source - particularly the early 1920’s which were supposed
to be handed in to the post office upon purchase of the next one, or with a written instruction to destroy them on expiry.
The 1939 - 1945 war years are also exceptionally scarce due to petrol rationing
which reduced the number of vehicles on the roads.
