These antique spurs by G.S. Garcia, a renowned maker of Western Americana, are a rare find from an Idaho barn.

These spurs were found tethered together, however, they are not a matched set. Somehow these got mixed up out on the trail.

Below are the differences:

The shank of the longer one measures 3" to the center pin. The rowel - wheel has 12 tines and measures 2-3/8" in diameter and is stamped G.S. Garcia.

The shank of the shorter one measures 2-11/16" to the center pin. The rowel - wheel measures 2-1/16" in diameter with 14 tines.  The spur is stamped Elko NEV.

The straps come with them as well.

It's obvious both spurs were made by Garcia but alas, are not a perfect match. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Nevertheless, these Hard To Find spurs are a valuable addition to any collection of Western memorabilia. The intricate craftsmanship and design of these spurs are a testament to the skilled labor that went into creating them. These spurs are a must-have for collectors of Western Americana and those interested in the history of American craftsmanship.
