This Amish made writing desk is perfect for the dorm or any space where you need a good solid writing desk. Comes stained and varnished... Has one center drawer in the front.

Assembly:

It is fairly easy to assemble the desk. We suggest putting a blanket or something down to protect the top and then lay the top on the blanket upside down on the floor while you attach the legs to the underside. Then have someone help you flip it right side up. 


We choose to work with lodgepole pine as it grows naturally in the forests of NW montana and is known for its superior strength to weight ratio. It is also straighter, thus making it easier to work the raw wood into the highest quality furniture possible. Our lodge pole pine is harvested in the Kootenai National Forest via a very selective process. Skilled woodsmen select each tree with an attentive eye toward the quality, straightness and size of each specimen. After felling, each piece is hand carried to the road to ensure both the tree and the environment remain unharmed. The logs are rustic cut on a bandsaw, creating a beautiful rustic piece of furniture for your home, lodge or cabin.
