This is a rare and unique edition of the classic novel Moby Dick by Herman Melville. The book features beautiful illustrations by Rockwell Kent and is a first edition published by Random House in 1930. The binding is hardcover, and the book is in its original state. 

 I  am no expert on books. However, this seems to be in excellent condition. The only flaw I see is a small tear on the inside cover (see pic).  There is some slight discoloration to the outside appearance of the pages when the book is closed, but when opened again, the pages seem to have never been read.
