I AM NOT SELLING A MODEL OR A  KIT, only a new, full-size copy of an Ace PLAN to build a RC GUPPY sailplane.

You will need to find a set of Ace tapered chord foam wing panels. This listing is for a copy of the PLAN so you can build a GUPPY. I AM NOT SELLING ANY FOAM WINGS.

I am not selling my glider wing that I show over my plan. It is there to show how the foam wing panels and power pod will look when you glue them together & cover the wing with solarfilm.

MY LAST PICTURES ARE OF ACE FOAM WING BOXES THAT APPEAR FREQUENTLY FOR SALE ON EBAY.

I show a picture by Gerald Bailey of Florida of his electric power pod on his NOMAD glider model. This will work fine on a GUPPY. Thanks, Gerald, for sharing your handiwork. I list 48” NOMAD plans separately, as well as an enlarged to 72” wingspan NOMAD.

The GUPPY fuselage is a sheet balsa side, bottom and top. The stab is sheet balsa as is the rudder. After I applied a strip of strapping tape all the way around the joined wing halves to give rigidity to the wing and prevent any flexing, I covered my foam wing with an iron-on coating. I believe it was Solarfilm. I also covered my fuselage, stab and rudder with silver Monokote to give better visibility in flight. This is an ideal design to teach a youngster how to fly RC. You can add elevators to the stabilizer to give yourself a second channel of RC control.

As you can see by my undamaged wing section, this model will last for decades to come and bring lots of fun in the meantime.

I AM NOT SELLING MY RED WING & COX ENGINE IN THIS OFFER.
