1 pair In Excellent unused / 2 in Very Good condition. The “Beat the Drums for Bob” event, held on May 22, 2007, celebrated Bob Ludwig’s 50th anniversary as a mastering engineer. These rare commemorative drumsticks and were made to give to the percussion musicians who were performing at the event in 2007. Extremely rare and hard to find, to play and collect.


Robert C. Ludwig is an American mastering engineer. He mastered recordings on all the major recording formats for all the major record labels, and on projects by more than 1,300 artists, including Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Metallica, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Bryan Ferry, Paul McCartney, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen and Daft Punk, with more than 3,000 credits. He is the recipient of numerous Grammy and other awards. Ludwig retired in 2023. Bob grew up in a small town in New York where he first started tinkering with tape machines at an early age, making recordings of radio broadcasts. As a young adult he pursued classical musicianship, earning both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester, New York.

Excellent to Mint (EUC) — Looks almost new, shows only slightest evidence of gentle use. Possible retail display demo unit that’s been handled or has some shelf ware, but unused, but also not Mint.

Excellent. Shows very light wear from little gentle use or handling but, taken very good care of.

Very Good to Excellent. Shows less than normal wear but has some noticeable wear in places

Very Good. Shows normal amount of wear for its age.

Good to Very Good. Shows a little more wear than usual.

Good Still has life is still in decent playable condition but shows slightly more than normal wear. Many vintage sticks fall in this category

Fair- Rough condition, but useable.
