Late 19th century antique Goodell Co. Bonanza cast iron commercial apple peeler and corer in clean, working, excellent condition. I've uploaded a video so you can see it in action.

Patented 1891.

This item has all of its original parts - including the extremely hard to find / rare cutting attachment (see photos and video where I point to it). None of the other Bonanza peelers that I’ve seen on eBay have this attachment.

PLEASE NOTE the epoxy repair to the cutting attachment.

Please refer to photos regarding condition.

Cast iron, about 27 lbs. with packing about 38 pounds.

No reserve. Sold as-is.

I will detach solid wood board it is mounted to and the handle when shipping, so there is no accidental breaking. All hardware to reattach these parts will be stored in a plastic bag and taped to the item in the shipping box.  You just need a Flathead screwdriver to reattach the handle, and the entire unit is held to the board with wingnuts.

Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for taking a look.

I just want to make clear that the epoxy repair is not on the rare cutting attachment per se, but rather the portion of the machine where the cutting attachment screws on with wing nut. That is what had been broken, which I had to reattach with epoxy repair. The rare cutting attachment is still completely removable with the wingnut and screw exactly as designed.

I used high strength steel weld epoxy - very stable and solid. You can paint it, and likely no one would ever notice it.

Also, I should know that this is the original paint on the machine – nothing has been repainted. I dismantled everything, cleaned everything, polished all the unpainted parts, and reassembled it.

You will probably have to tweak the adjustments of the peeler and the cutting attachment to get it exactly how you want it. It’s really fun to show people. And, really really useful when you are making apple pies!
