1st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron Beer Stein
"EYES OF THE AIR FORCE"

Previously Owned, Good Condition, Estate Item, Smoke Free Home 

This rare military beer stein features a unique theme "EYES OF THE AIR FORCE" featuring the emblem of the 1st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron. Also identified on the stein is the 1st Tac Recon Sq (NP) & aircraft Douglas C-47 Dakota, service period 1951-54, service locations, Bordeaux & Laon France, and Spangdahlem Germany.  

Unfortunately, the bottom of stein is cracked and has a hole, otherwise it is a wonderful collector's piece and is a must-have for any military or beer stein enthusiast. 

The USAF squadron was first established as the 21st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron and was equipped with a variety of transport aircraft (C-45, C-47, UC-64).  The 1st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron was formed shortly after the end of the World War II and served as part of the occupation forces in Germany.
