Italy from the Alps to Naples: 3rd Revised Edition Edition, 1928, 488 Pages, 93 Maps & Plans.
Northern Italy: 14th Remodeled Edition, 1913, 698 Pages, 36 Maps, 45 Plans, and 1 Panorama.

Publisher's soft cloth binding, gilt title lettering, embossed cover designs, marbled edges. A profusion of maps, including 2 large folding maps of Venice, Milan, Genoa, Florence, etc. Aside fromthe frontis map in Italy book with some slight edge damage from protruding, virtually all the maps remain fresh and clean.

Lot is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition.

Bindings age worn as seen, Northern Italy volume with some pronounced old damp staining to rear of book (all maps remain clean and nice), mostly light to moderate signs of careful handling and time but nothing offensive or severe, only one folding map seems edge defective due to having been folded with a portion protruding outside the text block, lot remains overall attractive on the shelf.

Paper is gently toned, still tight, sound internally.

The lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present appear to us easy to overlook or forgive.
