Another fantastic clearance find offered up for auction at a bargain price.      you are bidding on 2 fabulous Japanese antique cloisonne dragon vases in generally good shape ( see report & pics).      the small bud vases measure 5" tall and they both have the Japanese marks underneath.    the vases have the same dragon decoration but they are not an exact pair.   one is sky blue coloured and the other mint green.     the enamel work looks of a nice standard and the colours are still nice and vibrant.    one of the dragons is missing one eye and there is some other age related wear on the vases in places.     the cloisonne work has the lovely shiny foil patina which only adds to their beauty!   I would say the vases are early 20th century in age but hopefully the marks underneath will help with the history?   even with the wear the vases are still seriously fine looking things so please check out the pics for a much better look and see what you think.
