This distinctive Barbour reflects the Barbour Heritage motorcycling jackets from the 1930's. The International Union Jack Waxed jacket is still a timeless classic to this day. This jacket was made famous by Steve McQueen in the '60s (Not a Belstaff, as many believe). Completely waterproof Thornproof waxed cotton outer shell creates durable protection with a smooth and lustrous finish. The jacket is designed for 3 season weather and includes a corduroy-lined collar for comfort. Closure is a two-way brass zipper closure for rider comfort and easy access. It is concealed by a studded stormproof flap. The jacket includes the optional belt made from the same Barbour thornproof waxed cotton. All four outer pockets have a rainproof gusset, and one also has a zipper. The internal breast pocket includes a zipped closure. Underarm vents ensure superb breathability. Sleeves have double-button adjustable fastening.
The lining design is, of course, the British 'Union Jack, ' which celebrates the origins of this often-copied design.
