Biography Born in 1927 in Kyoto City. He studied under Kyuto Yamamoto. Professor Emeritus of Tokyo University of the Arts

1949 Graduated from Tokyo School of Fine Arts/First exhibited at the Creative Art Exhibition

1950: Received the Research Group Award at the 2nd Creative Arts Spring Exhibition.

1951: Received the New Artist Award at the 15th New Production Exhibition.

1992 Appointed permanent director of the Japan-China Cultural Exchange Association
