London: The Library of Imperial History, in Association with the Hamlyn Publishing Group, 1975, First Edition Thus. ONE VOLUME ONLY.

Original full vellum, armorial device to upper board gilt, gilt titles to spines, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, silk bookmark bound in, with the green covered slipcase with the same gilt device to the front.

Originally part of a set of 34 volumes. Volume XVIII ONLY sold here.

Edition limited to 2000 copies for the UK and 1000 for the USA.

Bound in full vellum with gilt titles and lines on the spine, and a gilt crest and lines on the front boards, silk bookmark bound in. All edges gilt. Silk ribbon markers. Each volume has its dark green faux leather covered slipcase which has the gilt crest on one board.

The best edition of the works of Britain's greatest 20th century statesman.

Pagination: Vol XVIII – 365pp, Epilogue, 2 maps, 1pp catalogue of the whole set.

Provenance: no inscriptions or bookplates.

Approximately 9 ½ inches tall.
