I think that most of us would agree that the 1967 Corvette is the epitome of what we all love about classic C2 Corvettes. It was simply the perfect American sports car for the 1960’s. The ’66 & ‘67 Corvette models were brilliant automotive designs, created under the direction of Bill Mitchell, who became head of the General Motors styling team on December 1st, 1958. The 1966 & 1967 Corvettes were designed by a team that included Zora Arkus-Duntov, Larry Shinoda, Pete Brock, and Chuck Pohlmann. Not surprisingly, the 1967 Corvette proved to be the most sophisticated of all the Sting Ray models, and had been refined to its evolutionary limits, the result of which was a car that was clearly the best model of its five-year run.

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very excited to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 427 L71 Custom. This car is absolutely gorgeous folks! The idea was to create a 1967 Corvette that was absolutely stunning in appearance, but could also be driven and enjoyed to the fullest w/out having to worry about reliability. The final results speak for itself, and I truly think that they hit it out of the park! Originally a no-hit Silver Pearl Metallic car, the color combination of choice for this project was a no-brainer: Tuxedo Black w/ a Red Stinger, of course. The bodywork & paint were professionally done to the highest levels, and it really shows. Factory side pipes were also a must because they look and sound so great. The Tuxedo Black paint has an absolutely brilliant shine throughout, as does the Red Stinger hood. The chrome bumpers, stainless-steel trim, emblems, etc., are all new and in perfect condition. To keep that classic look, she rides on 18” aluminum Rally Wheels, wrapped w/ Michelin Pilot Sport radial tires (235/50/ZR18 on the rear & 225/50/ZR18 up front). You can walk around this Corvette a hundred times and it looks absolutely perfect from every angle.

When you open the driver’s door, you will find a beautiful black leather interior that looks very much stock in appearance, but features all of those must-have modern components. Interior features include: Black leather bucket seats, 15” walnut steering wheel w/ satin spokes, Dakota Digital VHX Analog/Digital instrument cluster & clock, Vintage AC, black leather shift boot w/ red stitching, Antique Automobile Radio Retro AM/FM/Bluetooth system, Alpine XD-700/5 v2 5-channel Class D 700 watt Amplifier, (2) Alpine 6 x 9 Triaxial speakers in back (boxes not bolted down and are easily removed), (2) Alpine 4” speakers in the dash, (2) sets of black Corvette seat belts, and fresh black loop carpeting throughout. The interior is absolutely beautiful, super comfortable and fully functional in every way, while keeping that classic factory stock look.

Powering this gorgeous 1967 Corvette Coupe is a 427ci L71 Tri-Power motor that was completely rebuilt to factory specifications w/ 11.1 compression, w/ features that include finned valve covers w/ Corvette logo, aluminum hi-rise intake manifold, FiTech Go EFI 3x2 Tri-Power 600 HP fuel-injection system, Aeromotive fuel regulator & stainless-steel fuel lines, MSD Pro-Billet distributor, MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil, MSD spark plug wires, Hooker headers, power steering, power disc brakes, heavy-duty chrome alternator, custom heavy-duty radiator w/ (2) 12” cooling fans, Optima battery, and on and on. With these upgrades, such as the FiTech Tri-Power Fuel Injection system, headers, MSD components, etc., this 427ci L71 motor produces around 525 HP. This brutal powerplant is linked to a Tremec T-56 TR6060 Magnum Performance 6-speed manual transmission, which feeds power to the original rear end w/ 3.70 gears. With this much power under the hood, handling is always a concern, but not w/ this Corvette. Look underneath and you’ll find an ultra-clean undercarriage, that features a Detroit Speed C2 Speedray front suspension kit, which includes TIG welded tubular upper & lower control arms, aluminum body coilover shocks w/ ‘Detroit Tune’ valving, coilover springs, ‘Detroit Tune’ power rack & pinion steering, integrated splined sway bar w/ composite bushings, control arm cross shafts w/ caster tuner bushings, and forged aluminum Detroit Speed sp, indles, while stopping power comes from Wilwood power front disc brakes.

This gorgeous Corvette runs, drives, and performs beautifully, and sounds amazing! As you can imagine, it is a blast to drive and everywhere you go there will be a crowd around the car snapping photos on their smartphones. The new owner will receive a pile of build folders w/ invoices, receipts, component owner’s manuals, etc., as well as the free & clear title.

If you have been searching for a an amazing 1967 Chevrolet Corvette that can win ‘First Place’ awards at any level car event, or simply one that can be driven and enjoyed to the fullest, you will want to take a very close look at this gorgeous 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 427 L71 Custom!

Other retail items include: Helmets, Goggles, Sunglasses, Hats, Beanies, Jewelry, DVD’s, Books and Hot Rod Collectibles such as Rat Fink, Clay Smith and Mooneyes. They also market their own line of R.H.R.C. apparel. Much of their business has been and will continue to be internet-based, especially the sale of their high-end Classic Cars & Hot Rods. After all, this is a cyber world that we are dealing in these days, and R.H.R.C. has always catered to that market & plans to continue doing so for a very long time!
