Up for sale is a Vintage 1957 Wise Potato Chips “Recipes That Pep-Up Meals” Cookbook! This is a vintage advertising recipe booklet featuring the Wise Owl and many recipes by Dorothy Wise! The cookbook was published by the Wise Potato Chip Company in Berwick, Pennsylvania in 1957! The recipes include appetizers, breads, entrees, vegetables, cakes and cookies, desserts, candies, and cheese dips, and the cookbook features several illustrations and full color photos of the prepared dishes. This is a 32 page softcover recipe booklet measuring about 8⅝” x 6”. As shown in the photos, the cookbook is in very good condition for its age with a little cover wear and light soiling. It is complete and remains securely stapled from its cover to its centerfold. The booklet has nice clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This vintage Wise Potato Chips “Recipes That Pep-Up Meals” cookbook would make a great addition to your collection!
