Salvador Dali Salvador Dali 1904-1989

Spanish painter. Born in Figueras, Catalonia. A major Surrealist painter.

He called his painting method “paranoid critical method,” and he created his own unique world by depicting a dreamlike surreal world using multiple images and other realistic painting techniques.

He also painted many religious paintings in which his wife, Gala, is depicted as the Virgin.

His representative works include “Memory Adhesion,” “Soft Structure with Aubergine Hermit Beans,” and “Sleep.
